Port renovation, Livorno

The renovation of the Port of Livorno on the Tuscan coast started in 2010. There was a need to modernise the infrastructure to allow for increased container and passenger ferry transport. The marina was also redesigned. Several docks and piers were redesigned and/or extended. The quay walls were built using concrete which was reinforced with 316L stainless steel bars.
